Making it happen. You have found out why you were stuck in the place you were. You have rediscovered who you are. You created a vision. Next, it is time to build. It is time to make it happen. Everything has built up to this point.
Nate continues with the 3rd part in the motivational series “Vision” “Without a vision my people will perish.” We need the instructions before we start building. Listen and find out. Stay inspired!
I have heard it said “Be the hero” Joe Rogan talks of your life being like a movie. If your life was a movie, be the hero of your movie.
The great Joseph Campbell states:
“Furthermore, we have not even to risk the adventure alone, for the heros of all time have gone before us. The labyrinth is thoroughly known. We have only to follow the thread of the hero path, and where we had thought to find an abomination we shall find a god. And where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves. Where we had thought to travel outward, we will come to the center of our own existence. And where we had thought to be alone, we will be with all the world.”
Take a moment and read through this profound paragraph a few times. Let it sink in to your soul.
See here is the deal. You are not alone on your quest. Billions of people have gone before you. It does not matter your position in life. It does not matter if yesterday you lived your life as a dirtbag, or that you are lazy, unmotivated, filled with resentments, and just plain tired of life.
If today you woke up in poverty, out of shape and unhealthy, have addictions that are destroying your life. It just does not matter.
We love a good movie about someone who is down and out, then through their journey find greatness! Stop being down on yourself, stop saying I can’t, and realize you can! As the great Joe Rogan said if your life was a movie, what kind of movie would you want it to be?
You have the power to change who you are. You can be the hero!
Do not be the one.
When your days are done and your hands can no longer function, do not be the one who followed the rules, did everything you are told, and forget God gave you a brain to think for yourself. Don’t do it! Yes, being an obediant cog is probably the most safe way to navigate through life; only to end up just another gravemarker with little meaning.
They say better to be safe than sorry. That’s a lie. It has always been the risk takers who have made the greatest impact on our world. As a Christian I can read the Bible and find it was the risk takers who God used.
In human understanding faith and risk are very synonymous. So what I am I trying to say? I am saying chase whimsies, follow your bliss, don’t let anyone tell you “NO” if it is the desire of your heart. Seek it, keep knocking, make life happen. Do not let life happen to you!
At the end of the day you may still become just an unknown gravestone. Yet you will be one who tried to defy the norm, who said the moon is to close, I am shooting for stars. On your death bed there will be no disappointment, only hope that those you leave behind follow the same path.

India has a tradition to treat their guest as visiting dieties. I think this is beautiful. As Christians we should also treat one another as diety because that is what we are. “Children of God” Think of the problems which would evaporate if we lived lives of worship to one another.
I know you might think this strange, and even blasphemous. But think about the words of Christ. “If you have seen me you have seen the Father” Also the holy texts state in various locations “Christ within us” we collectivley are the body of Christ.
The story of Adam in Genesis speaks of God walking with man in the cool of the day. So we also walk with are brothers and sisters. Let us be a blessing today!
Have an amazing Thursday!
The Backyard Preacher
Rise and shine! Happy Monday my friends! Most of you resent that statement. I completely understand, we are on our way to jobs we hate and wish it would be Friday all over again. I guess the first question is, why do you hate or despise your job? If it is that bad quit.
See I believe that we as a society should not have to work crap jobs and if we do we should strive to be the best we can. I believe it was Dr. King who said, “if you are a garbage man be the best garbage man you can be.” As for me today I am going to perform customer service because that’s what I currently do. I am blessed to have a job, I will try my best to give the best customer service possible.
So again it is Monday, but that does not have to be a bad or depressing thing.
Alan Watts said: “Nirvana is right where you are, provided that you don’t object to it.”
Don’t object to what is before you, be content and happy in your situation, it will not always be so bad. In other words it could be worse.
The apostle Paul said: “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” Philippians 4:11
Today be content, allow heaven to kiss your lips and the Spirit guide your feet. Today, if you choose, you are blessed!
I want you to take a moment. Right now; yes right now. Imagine something if you will. Imagine that the person next to you, your boss, the guy that cut in line, the driver who aggravated you on your way to work. Ok, now the person who stole from you, cheated on you, the person that hates you.
Now imagine you have been that person who is creating a disturbance in your emotional state. You have been that driver, boss, neighbor, friend. They have also been you. We are all interconnected. We are all of the same body, same spirit, and we all have the same problems.
