The Kingdom of Heaven is within, so said the master. According to the Christian tradition paradise was lost when man and woman rebelled against God through the eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, this “fruit” whatever it may be either literal or as I would believe to be a an analogy of the ancients in order to demonstrate man’s fear. Adam and Eve of the garden were afraid that they would be left behind, that they were being kept out of the loop, that God the Father was somehow refusing their birthright unto them. I suggest that fear was original sin and since the time of Adams and Eves picnic of knowledge, fear became passed down from one generation to the next with man loosing paradise and the peace, bliss, and the worry free lifestyle was now far from the minds of man with a flaming sword guarding the way back in. In my imagination the type of life in which God created us to be before the fall is one in which we do not possess an ego, a life in which we have no hopes, no dreams, no desire other than being one with God in spirit. This is because we do not need a “self” a “hope” because we have everything or “desire” for the same reason. This was a time when we were one with God, a blended consciousness perhaps. Yet we were not immune to falling short of this continuous bliss, we were deceived to believe that God is the enemy, that we were neglected and like the parable of the prodigal demanded our inheritance which eventually left us eating with the pigs. The forbidden fruit is fear that God will not bestow upon us the knowledge which He possesses. I suggest to you that fear is of the greatest of sins, one in which we were are born with, one which takes us away from a fundamental state of reality, creating a self-centered life which in turn brings about the fruit of all kinds of sin.

The great master Jesus Christ came to show us the way back to the garden. His life was one of living in this world full of fear yet He himself had no fear. He lived a life as one who was one in consciousness with God His Father. We may say to ourselves that Jesus being the incarnated son of God gave him an advantage, well you have me there, and then again we are also sons of God through Christ! Christ came to be the restorer. He came to bring the death of the first Adam to life, this being done through the cross. This great mystery is just that a mystery, a mystery in which we must take advantage of!

Now that I have given a very brief synopsis now I must get to the point in which we start to live a life without fear. Unfortunately I have sad news, for most people if not all people it is impossible to completely live without fear in fact some fear is good, yet I do not know if it is truly fear. The fear that may have brought about original sin is full of every sorts of evil. Our fear drives us as human beings to create the world in which we have around us today goes back to the beginning of sin. Getting back to paradise will not be an easy task. We are constantly being bombarded with situations causing stress, pain, and anger. We are around people who create turmoil in our lives, Jesus had to deal with people within his own inner circle of friends who were thieves, violent and angry, sexually promiscuous, those who wished to undermined and threaten the very reason which the Christ came. We also deal with people with very similar issues which directly and indirectly affect us. Jesus knew full and well what was going on yet he did not allow it to detour Him. Jesus was fearless, He understood that He was in the hands of the Father, regardless of any situation that came His way even that of the pending cross He gave it all up to the Fathers will. He was not always immune to human emotions, but lived his life without being detoured. We each have a mission in life, a calling, a purpose, something in which we were placed on this earth to do. In order to carry out our purpose we must choose to live our lives totally surrendered to God. How do you do this? Well I will be honest sometimes it just boils down to not giving a crap about life and to live in the simple bliss of knowing that everything is ok. Like a baby in the arms of his mother, so we are to our Father. The Father is pure love and light, He sings His praises over us. We suffer earth to earn our soon reward. If we can break down our state of being to realize that nothing in this life in which we hold so dear really matters. As Jesus would say we must be born again, we must lose our lives to gain it. To do this we must first surrender to love, it was the love of God which allowed us to be reunited as His sons and daughters, so we must learn to live love. I suggest a reading of 1 Corinthians 13 in which the Apostle Paul gives a very powerful definition of love. If we can grasp love to its fullest extent we may just be able to truly live out life as a type of Christ on the earth. If we can live out love we can change the world, it is not the amount of numbers we have, and Jesus who had few followers who ended up changing the world even to the extent in which I write this article.

So let us make living out love something in which we start to practice. Let us spiritually take upon ourselves the Christ consciousness, let us let go of what causes us stress, pain, and anger. Let us understand that most of what we place our stock in is worthless. To understand that spiritual strength and mental peace is more valuable than gold. To not allow ourselves to be owned by the world, but free people, happy people, people who enjoy life and able to carry out our mission in which we have been placed on this earth to do. We can live a life without fear, without much worry or stress, we can live our lives happy and free. We must rid ourselves of the fear which has destroyed our lives, the fear that our Father wishes to keep the glories of heaven for himself, and the fear of those who try to rule over us here on earth. My passion for you is to be restored to the Father, to make it through this life, to find the Kingdom of Heaven within and be free!
